Graduate students attend a masters class in Computer Science at Gaston Berger University (UGB) in Saint Louis, Senegal. The university is home to the Africa Center of Excellence in Mathematics and ICT. Through the Africa Centers of Excellence or ACE project (P126974), 19 university-based Centers of Excellence in seven countries in West and Central Africa are receiving funding for advanced specialized studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)-related disciplines, as well as in agriculture and health.
